NOTES for Sportster Models: Your existing clutch drum must have starter ring gear attached. Side mount electric start oil tank VT400400 must be purchased when fitted to 1971 - 1980 models. Kick and electric start sprocket cover must be used if kick start is to be retained. Battery, top cover and strap must be purchased separately.
