& Hines pioneered aftermarket full-coverage heat shields back when we
entered the Harley business. Since then the market has come to expect that
kind of high-value product.
Because of the success of our original BIG SHOTS, for 2002 we have expanded the line with two totally new BIG SHOT models. The BIG SHOTS Staggered and Long are the next evolution to the originals. They will not replace, but be available in addition to, the original BIG SHOTS. BIG SHOTS feature massive 2-1/2" diameter, full-length, full-coverage heat shields that make all BIG SHOTS virtually "blue-proof"! That means many years and many miles later, BIG SHOTS will look like new. The new BIG SHOTS feature our exclusive crossover system called the POWER CHAMBER. The race-inspired Power Chamber is a unique crossover system that offers all the performance advantages of a 2 into 1 race system, yet retains the intimidating look of drag pipes. In addition, we have redesigned the mufflers and removable baffles for better performance and a deeper, more powerful sound. BIG SHOTS STAGGERED models come complete with new Billet Slash End Tips for a complete custom look. The LONG models come with the more traditional straight Billet End Tips. And of course, every Vance & Hines performance exhaust system comes complete with all mounting hardware and easy-to-understand instructions. |
