XL 240 SUPER WIDE-TIRE KITS
Kits include, raw steel swingarm, axle and spacers, transmission belt drive offset sprocket, weld-on rear fender struts and transmission sprocket cover plate. These Kits are designed for all 5 speed XL Sportsters. Must be installed by a certified Technician and Welded by a certified welder. These kits are great for off road uses. Swingarms come stamped " not DOT approved. Please read our, TERMS and CONDITIONS.
Kits also require at least :
Longer Final Drive Belt, because of the 2" extended swingarm design.
11" wide fender, must be cut to fit at strut area.
Removal of Factory Fender Struts and Installation of included fender struts, (weld-on).
18" x 8.5", 240 Wheel, and Tire.
Brake Rotor and Rear Drive Offsets may be required - Depending on wheel purchased.

require sprocket spacer # CS060727 & seal # CS091196.
2: NOT DOT APPROVED ( not for street use). Why
???Everybody asks why it isn't D.O.T approved. Here are some of the reasons that
I can think of. A) You need to cut off your fender struts, B) You need to
weld on new fender struts, C) You need to set up the rear spring alignment, D)
You need to fabricate, drill and weld.... Therefore is will be " YOUR"
responsibility to ensure that it is safe to drive. Lots of the products that we
sell are not D.O.T. approved. This does not mean that they are not safe, just
not D.O.T approved. I have yet had a call about those cool looking lights that
you want to put on your bike, or that exhaust that you are thinking about. There
is a term called " CYA", and that is what we are doing, " Certifying
Your Authority " to sell you this kit by advising you that you need to be
careful and operate your vehicle safely.
3: Yes the exhaust will need to be tweaked / twisted to clear.
4: Drive-Line setup should be done by a qualified / certified Mechanic.
