Easy to install! Mounts in place of the stock module with plug-in installation.
True Single-Fire! Crankshaft position sensor is used to establish accurate firing. Rear cylinder timing can be offset from -5° to +4°. Initial timing is set from -5° to +4°, both via easily adjusted, rotary switch.
Ten advance curve families! Easily selected via rotary switch.. Lets you select the exact advance curve you want for factory-stock to wildly modified engines for maximum horsepower, torque and reliability!
Full multi-spark performance! Up to nine sparks at idle, three sparks up to 6,000 rpm! Easier starting, hot or cold, plus better low-speed driveability and off-idle response! Stops plug fouling and lean-surge!
Built-In, digitally set rev-limiter! Easily adjustable via rotary switches! Adjustable from 1,500 to 9,900 rpm, in 100 rpm increments. Sequential rev limiter eliminates “popping and banging” at rev-limit.
Improved hot-starting! Designed to start on the first revolution, even when hot, saving your starter and battery!
Low-profile, black anodized, aluminum housing! Looks great while it dissapates heat build-up, for added longevity!

CRANE 'Hi-4' IGNITION SYSTEM
Crane's high-performance electronic ignitions have the entire unit mounted directly to the ignition timing plate for ease-of-installation and trouble-free operation. They're available in single-fire and dual-fire "race' models as well as an 'EPA-friendly' version that is certified legal for use in all 50 states (E.O. #D-225-43). They all feature fully-adjustable advance curves, switching for kick or electric start, a tachometer output, and a rev-limiter that's adjustable from 4,000 to 8,000 RPM . The "race" single-fire kit has adjustable rear cylinder timing, and both single-fire kits have the necessary circuitry to correct the read-out of the electronic tachometers on late-model motorcycles. Fits all Sportster® models from 1983 to present and Big Twin models from 1984 to present that still have their OEM electronic ignition timing rotor in place. They may also be installed on all Sportster models from 1971 thru 1982 and Big Twins from 1970 thru 1983 when their mechanical advance units and point ignitions, or early electronic ignitions and rotors are replaced by an OEM 32402-83 ignition timing rotor.
